Benefit for wood, benefit for health
Natural waxes mixture for sauna shelves, with silver No.2010
The safest wood protection for berths, benches and accessories in steamed bath-houses and saunas. Excellent protection and esthetics. Minimum smell at drying up.
|The compound is meant especially for treatment of berths, benches and wooden accessories in conditions of high humidity and temperature in steamed bath-houses and saunas. The compound is used for surface forming on untreated wood and for its toning (when tinting). The compound can be applied for treatment of any other interior wooden surfaces not subjected to a high wear, including those situated in premises with increased humidity. Its use is not recommended for treatment of surfaces, operation of which takes place under action of atmospheric factors.|

|Properties||Directions for use|
|Gloss: Sateen or silky-semi-mat (after polishing).
Color: In its liquid non-tinctured form, the compound is milky-white and after drying up it is transparent. The compound can be colored with dry pigments.
Complete composition: water; beeswax, wax of carnauba palm and wax candelilla in ultra-micro-dispersed form; wood oil; vegetable wetting agents; lecithin; natural silver in ultra-micro-dispersed form (nanoform) in a concentration sufficient for surface protection.
Content of artificial substances: The compound contains no artificial substances, fast-drying materials, conserving agents and heavy metals.
Thinning agent: Water.
Solids content: <100%.
Storage: It is supposed to be stored in a dry cool place in tightly closed packing under temperature not lower than +5°С and preferably not higher than +35°С. Do not freeze!
Shelf life: Storage term in the original closed container is about 12 months.
Container volume: 0.5; 1; 2.5 and 10 l.
Class of hazard: Not applicable.
Density: 0.99 to 1.02 g/cm3.
Viscosity: ~25 to 30 sec (DIN-size beaker 4 mm).
Flash-point: Do not apply at more than 200°C.
Quantity used: Approximately 8 to 12 m2/l for the first layer, 10 to 18 m2/l for the second layer and 20-30 m2/l for the third layer depending on absorptiveness of a surface.
Drying time: Approximately in 1 or 2 hours it is possible to apply the next layer; approximately in 30 to 40 minutes after the last layer application, the surface can be polished. Final drying up takes 48 to 72 hours at temperature 20°C and humidity 50-60%.
|Surface preparation: Remove an old film coat (if any). Clean the surface from dirt and grease (by washing up with water and soap) and dry up to the humidity level 14-15%. In dependence with wood kind and desirable smoothness, grind off the surface with abrasive means with grain P100-220 (it is recommended in average not less than P150-180); remove dust thoroughly.
Application process: The surface must be dry; the recommended humidity is not more than 14 or 15%. It is recommended to conduct the treatment at temperature not less than +12 to +15°С. Mix the compound properly and apply it on the surface with an excess. Do it with aid of a brush with short nap or a lint-free natural tissue. Thoroughly rub the compound into wood grains. In 10 to 15 minutes, an excess removing is needed to be done. In 1 or 2 hours in the similar way it is needed to apply the second layer. After that in 1 or 2 hours in the similar way, there can be applied the third layer. In 20 or 30 minutes after the last layer application and a subsequent excess removing, polish the surface with a lint-free tissue or with a polishing machine with the white pad.
Tinting: In the composition, dry mineral pigments can be added in amount up to 30%. For getting of a toned surface, a colored compound can be applied for treatment only of the first layer, and as for the subsequent layers, they must be colorless. In a case of use of coloring pastes, make sure that they contain only natural substances (pigments, base and additives). As the most part of coloring pastes contain some toxic organic substances evaporating under heating, we do not recommend use of the pastes for steamed bath-houses and also for treatment of surfaces entering in a contact with human skin. For uniform mixing up it is recommended first to dilute a pigment in a small compound volume and then to mix up with the rest of compound.
Cleaning and care: The surface can be wiped with a wet tissue as well as washed with warm water and soap. If the surface is worn-out, apply a compound thin layer on the worn-out field. In a case of a local damage (or contamination), the surface is to be scraped with small-grain sandpaper (for example with grain P240); then on the treated field, apply the compound. For a better conservation of the silky gloss and fresh look of the surface, it is recommended, in frame of wetting cleaning, to wipe the surface with water, to 10 liters of which 1 or 2 tablespoons of the compound No.2010 should be added.
Tool cleaning: Immediately after use it is needed to wash the tool with warm water with soap or detergent and to dry it up.
Utilization: An empty container must be utilized in accordance with regional legislation. Any dried up product remainders can be disposed together with domestic garbage.
Safety advice: To store in a childproof place. It is forbidden to pour remainders into sewage. In a case of contact with eyes, wash with a lot of water. Soaked with the product materials (tissues, dresses, sponges) and tools must be washed up with water and soap and dried up in a fireproof container or on a fireproof surface as during the drying up process, a hazard is present of a spontaneous combustion. After that the materials can be disposed together with common garbage.
The compound contains completely natural substances. That is why before its application it is necessary to ensure that you do not suffer from allergy to vegetable substances and products of beekeeping!
