Beeswax lasur for wood No.1010

The simplest solution for wood protection from dirt and moisture. It serves also for toning. There is no odor within drying up time. The surface is very pleasant and “warm” by touch.

Use
It is suitable for walls, ceilings, furniture, windows and interior wooden objects not subjected to an increased wear. It fits well for surfaces made of cork. It can be applied on a surface having been treated with «Wax-oil lasur for wood» No.1015, «Interior oil-lasur for wood» No.1020 as well as with other oils and waxes in concentrated or diluted form for a surface renovation or to adding a silky gloss to it. At furniture production, it is strongly recommended to process surfaces from inside as after the treatment, the characteristic smell of drying vegetable oils is just absent (the product does not contain oils). The compound is strongly recommended for a treatment of surfaces entering to a contact with human skin, including that of children as it does not contain any artificial additives.

Properties Directions for use
Gloss: Sateen or silky-mat for preliminary untreated wood (just after its polishing). The silky gloss is added for the wood preliminary treated with oils and waxes (after its polishing).
Color: In its liquid non-tinctured form, the compound is milky-white and after drying up it is transparent. The compound can be colored with dry pigments, aqueous or universal coloring pastes.
Complete composition: water; beeswax, wax of carnauba palm in ultra-micro-dispersed form; vegetable wetting agents; lecithin; natural silver in ultra-micro-dispersed form (nanoform).
Content of artificial substances: The compound contains no artificial substances, fast-drying materials, conserving agents or heavy metals.
Thinning agent: Water.
Solids content: <100%.
Storage: It is supposed to be stored in a dry cool place in tightly closed packing under temperature not lower than +5°С and preferably not higher than +35°С. Do not freeze!
Shelf life: Storage term in the original closed container is about 12 months.
Container volume: 0.5; 1; 2.5 and 10 l.
Class of hazard: Not applicable.
Density: 0.99 to 1.02 g/cm3.
Viscosity: ~20 to 25 sec (DIN-size beaker 4 mm).
Flash-point: Do not apply at more than 200°C.
Quantity used: 12 to 30 m2/l depending on absorptiveness of a surface.
Drying time: Approximately in 20 to 30 minutes, it is possible to apply the next layer; approximately in 30 to 40 minutes, the surface can be polished. Final drying up takes 24 hours at temperature 20°C and humidity 50-60%.
Surface preparation: Remove an old film coat (if any). In a case of application on surfaces treated with oils and waxes, removing of the old coat is not required. Clean the surface from dirt and grease (by washing up with water and soap) and dry up to the humidity level 14-15%. In dependence with wood kind and desirable smoothness, grind off the surface with abrasive means with grain P100-220. (It is recommended in average not less than P150-180). Remove dust thoroughly.
Application process: The surface must be dry; recommended humidity is not more than 14 or 15%. It is recommended to conduct the treatment at temperature not less than +15°С. Mix the compound properly and apply it on the surface with a brush or a roller or a spraying gun in 1 to 3 layers. For a wooden surface treated with oils or waxes, as a rule, 1 layer is enough. The recommended drying up time between layers makes 20 to 30 minutes. For getting a silky gloss, in 30 to 40 minutes after the last layer applying, the surface can be polished with aid of a brush, a lint free tissue or a white pad. Finally the drying up process will be over in 24 hours.Above the final layer, a layer of Carnauba wax, high gloss No.1090 can be apply. In a case of compound No.1010 use for taking care of surfaces treated with oils or waxes, during wet cleaning, use 1 or 2 tablespoons of the compound per 10 liters water.
Tinting: In the compound composition, dry pigments can be added in volume up to 30% or coloring pastes, universal or aqueous ones, in volume recommended by a paste producer. For uniform mixing up, it is recommended first to dilute a pigment in a small compound volume and then to mix up with the rest of the compound.
Cleaning and care: The surface can be wiped with a wet tissue. In a case of contamination, wash it up with warm water with soap. If the surface is worn-out, apply a compound thin layer on the worn-out field. In a case of a local damage (or contamination), the surface is to be scraped with small-grain sandpaper (for example with grain P240); then on the treated field, apply the compound. For a better conservation of the silky gloss and fresh look of the surface, it is recommended wetting cleaning, namely wiping the surface with water, to 10 liters of which 1 or 2 tablespoons of the compound No.1010 or emulsion of carnauba palm wax No.1090 should be added.
Tool cleaning: Immediately after use, it is needed to wash the tool with warm water with soap or detergent and to dry it up.
Utilization: An empty container must be utilized in accordance with regional legislation. Any dried up product remainders can be disposed together with domestic garbage.
Safety advice: To store in a childproof place. It is forbidden to pour remainders into sewage. In a case of contact with eyes, wash with a lot of water. Soaked with the product materials (tissues, dresses, sponges) and tools must be washed up with water and soap and dried up in a fireproof container or on a fireproof surface as during the drying up process, a hazard is present of a spontaneous combustion. After that the materials can be disposed together with common garbage.

The compound contains completely natural substances. That is why before its application it is necessary to ensure that you do not suffer from allergy to vegetable substances and products of beekeeping!
