Wax-oil lasur for sauna, with silver No.2015

A universal protective glazing compound for walls, ceilings and floors in steamed rooms of bath-houses and saunas. Contains no artificial substances including fast-drying materials. Contains the silver for a wood sanitary protection.

Use
The compound is meant for walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, windows and wooden objects in steamed bath-houses and saunas, which are operated in conditions of an increased temperature and humidity at immediate contact with humans. It can be applied for any premises including those with increased humidity and wear, when maximum high requirements are set to harmless and sanitary properties of a treated surface.

Properties Directions for use
Gloss: Silky-semi-mat.
Color: In its liquid non-tinctured form, the compound is milky-white and after drying up it is transparent. The compound can be colored with dry pigments.
Complete composition: water; heat-polymerized wood oil; boiled down mixture of wood oil, castor oil, linseed oil, of conifers and glycerin from vegetable sources; wax of carnauba palm, wax candelilla and beeswax in ultra-micro-dispersed form; vegetable wetting agents; lecithin; natural silver in ultra-micro-dispersed form (nanoform) in a concentration sufficient for surface protection.
Content of artificial substances: The compound contains no artificial substances, fast-drying materials, conserving agents and heavy metals.
Thinning agent: Water.
Solids content: <100%.
Storage: It is supposed to be stored in a dry cool place in tightly closed packing under temperature not lower than +5°С and preferably not higher than +35°С. Do not freeze!
Shelf life: Storage term in the original closed container is about 12 months.
Container volume: 0.5; 1; 2.5 and 10 l.
Class of hazard: Not applicable.
Density: 0.99 to 1.02 g/cm3.
Viscosity: ~25 to 30 sec (DIN-size beaker 4 mm).
Flash-point: Do not apply at more than 200°C.
Quantity used: Approximately 10 to 15 m2/l for the first layer, 12 to 20 for the second layer and 30 to 35 m2/l for the third layer depending on absorptiveness of a surface.
Drying time: Approximately in 12 to 24 hours it is possible to apply the second layer. In subsequent 12 to 24 hours after the second layer application, it is possible to apply the third layer. Final drying up takes 72 hours at temperature 20°C and humidity 50-60%. Final forming of water-repellent and mudguard properties takes place during 7 to 14 days & nights.
Surface preparation: Remove an old film coat (if any). Clean the surface from dirt and grease (by washing up with water and soap) and dry up to the humidity level 14-15%. In dependence with a wood kind and a desirable smoothness, grind off the surface with abrasive means with grain P100-220 (it is recommended in average not less than P150-180), remove dust thoroughly.
Application process: The surface must be dry; the recommended humidity is not more than 14 or 15%. It is recommended to conduct the treatment at temperature not less than +12 to +15°С. Mix the compound properly and apply it with a brush, a roller with synthetic nap or a spray gun along grain. In 12 to 24 hours, the raised nap can be removed by a sandpaper sheet with grain P240. The second layer should be applied in the similar way. If necessary, in subsequent 12 to 24 hours, application process of the third layer is possible. If in 12 to 24 hours after any layer application process it will turn out that on some fields the glazing compound is nod soaked in completely into the surface, redistribute it onto free fields. Slightly rub the compound into the surface with aid of a lint-free tissue and at the same time remove an excess.Final drying up takes place in 72 hours. Final forming of water-repellent and mudguard properties takes place during 7 to 14 days & nights. In order to improve significantly treatment quality and to cut the drying up time, arrange a preliminary heating the steamed room up to 35-40°С. In this case, the duration of each layer drying up time decreases 2 or 3 times.Above the final layer, not earlier than in 2 or 3 weeks, the layer of Carnauba wax, high gloss No.1090 can by apply.
Tinting: In the compound, dry mineral pigments can be added in volume up to 30%. For getting of a toned surface, a colored compound can be applied for treatment only of the first layer, and as for the subsequent layers, they must be colorless. In a case of use of coloring pastes, make sure that they contain only natural substances (pigments, base and additives). As the most part of the coloring pastes contain toxic organic substances evaporating under heating, we do not recommend use of the pastes for steamed bath-houses and also for treatment of surfaces entering in a contact with human skin. For uniform mixing up it is recommended first to dilute a pigment in a small compound volume and then to mix up with the rest of compound.
Cleaning and care: The surface can be wiped with a wet tissue. In a case of a contamination wash it with warm water and soap. If the surface is worn-out, apply a compound thin layer on the worn-out field. In a case of a local damage (or contamination), the surface is to be scraped with small-grain sandpaper (for example with grain P240); then on the treated field, apply the compound. For a better conservation of the silky gloss and fresh look of the surface, it is recommended, in frame of wetting cleaning, to wipe the surface with water, to 10 liters of which 1 or 2 tablespoons of the compound No.2010 should be added.
Tool cleaning: Immediately after use it is needed to wash the tool with warm water with soap or detergent and to dry it up.
Utilization: An empty container must be utilized in accordance with regional legislation. Any dried up product remainders can be disposed together with domestic garbage.
Safety advice: To store in a childproof place. It is forbidden to pour remainders into sewage. In a case of contact with eyes, wash with a lot of water. Soaked with the product materials (tissues, dresses, sponges) and tools must be washed up with water and soap and dried up in a fireproof container or on a fireproof surface as during the drying up process, a hazard is present of a spontaneous combustion. After that the materials can be disposed together with common garbage.

The compound contains completely natural substances. That is why before its application it is necessary to ensure that you do not suffer from allergy to vegetable substances and products of beekeeping!
